The Road To Zero Carbon

Commercial real estate is on the path to eliminate greenhouse gas emissions from our industry. We are supporting our members through this critical period of transition and informing rapidly evolving policies and programs for existing buildings.

Benchmarking

BOMA Toronto has been a leading voice in the development and implementation of building energy and water benchmarking programs in Ontario. This includes the BOMA Toronto race2reduce, and an industry-led challenge with over 3500 buildings benchmarking reductions in energy use, water use, waste and greenhouse gas emissions, as well as the Ontario Energy & Water Reporting and Benchmarking regulation (EWRB).

Regulated Utilities

The Commercial Real Estate Sector is a significant ratepayer in the Ontario utility market. BOMA Toronto represents our members on members on critical issues ranging from energy pricing to conservation program design.
